Ask the parties about plans for development aid

I just signed a petition asking the parties to answer some simple questions on their plans on poverty and development, via One.org.

Please join in with me here:

There has been real progress in tackling poverty in recent years, with millions more people on life-saving AIDS treatment and kids in school.

But recently we’ve seen the leading parties approve hundreds of billions for the banks while promising cuts to the electorate. What does this mean for aid abroad?

That’s why it’s important to me that in this election the parties clearly spell out what they plan to do to help.

The more of us that act, the greater our chances of receiving some answers.

Thanks!
